Are you dressing up your dog for Halloween?
I am taking mine to a family Halloween party dressed as a baby with pampers, baby hat, baby shirt that says, "spoiled rotten" and a pacifier hanging from his neck.

Sounds cute! I’ll be dressing up our 10-month border collie for Halloween to take him trick-or-treating.. he doesn’t mind wearing things at all… he’s used to it (we go backpacking). Haven’t decided yet what he’s going to be. The other dogs wouldn’t really like playing dress-up so we won’t make them.

I feel sad for your dog! The indignity of being dressed like that. My Staffy dresses as a Pit Bull for Halloween. That scares enough people at the door.

Aw that sounds cute. I would dress up my dogs but they are too big to do that.

I’d like to, but our budget is understandably tight.. Besides, no one but immediate family and online friends would get to see the costumes. I have no Halloween parties to attend, and we get virtually no trick-or-treaters. Plus, I wouldn’t even be around to enjoy the costumes myself — I gotta take advantage of still being able to trick-or-treat while I can without looking completely creepy.
If I could dress them up, Grimm would have a simple black hooded cape/robe and one of those chintzy plastic scythes.. He’d be the Grim Reaper, of course. Krueger, obviously, would get a Freddy Krueger costume.

Yes I will but only for a quick photoshoot & that’s it. It’s okay to have fun once in a while especially for competitions & festive seasons. There’s nothing wrong with it. However, dressing the dog up everyday just to make it look cute especially during Summer is just ridiculous.
Just make sure when you dress your dog up, it is comfortable in what it wears & it doesn’t restrict its movement & or give it any difficulties to move around in it. And since you’re going to dress it up like a "baby", the costume should not be on more than 10 minutes long because it does sound uncomfortable especially with that pampers on.

Look at the pictures of dogs in drag. None of them look happy. Ever notice?
Some become absolutely mortified. I bet yours does to. So why would you want to put your dog though that. For your enjoyment? Certainly not its

My dog is in a costume 365 days a year- she is dressed as Lassie……….
Its the costume God gave her, and the only one she has to wear.
